Not an orphan, but a very late Startup 32 man league. Almost full and will work out draft asap Trying to replicate real NFL schemes as best as possible. • 1 Superflex – QB value preserved; wildcat flexibility for bye weeks • 1 RB – Reflects standard single-back NFL systems • 2 WR – Represents X and Y outside receivers • 1 TE – Most real-life formations include a TE • 1 FLEX (WR/RB/TE) – Versatile for 11/12/21 personnel • 1 FLEX (WR/TE) – Enables spread or jumbo sets • 1 FLEX (WR/RB) – Supports Empty or power-run looks • 1 Kicker – Included for realism • 2 DL, 2 LB, 3 DB, 1 IDP FLEX – Mirrors nickel defence and hybrid schemes • 17 Scoring Players each week • Bench: 20 players – Reflects full offensive and defensive depth • IR: 5 spots • Taxi: 6 spots - Rookie and 1st year players • Total Rostered Players: 48 - same as NFL game day • Position Caps: QB max 2; Kicker max 1; WR/DB max 6; all others max 5 Scoring for IDP was set to try make it even across DL, LB, CB (not skewed to LB). Draft time will decided when/if we fill up. Scoring starts next week. Draft from scratch and random draft order. BALANCE • IDP scoring balanced around ~8 points/week across LBs, DLs, and DBs. Based on league average stats for each position groups: DL 8.3 per week, LB is 9.77 per week, DB is 7.43 per week. However DL and CB have bigger booms due to skew towards sack and interception, whereas LB have lower ceiling but higher floor • No position dominates the IDP FLEX • Position limits prevent hoarding • Lineup flexibility encourages true personnel strategy (spread, jumbo, run-heavy, etc.) http://sleeper.com/i/kM8bnXZzowbGz
