The “Trade or Die ☠️” league This is a unique league designed to MAXIMIZE TRADING. We are only looking for respectful, active owners that love to trade. You must make 3 trades in the league year, or die!! ☠️ (get kicked out) Also, if you are repeatedly disrespectful to another player we will kick you out (after a clear warning). We do free leagues for fun, not drama. Scoring: 2.0 TEP 6pt passing td -2pt INT -1 Fumble -1 Fumble lost (so -2 for lost fumbles and -1 for any fumble) General settings/rules: -FAAB is a single $100 for the whole year (offseason and regular season, no reset) -You have to regularly set a competitive lineup and have a full roster -No vetoes/trade review time (only for collusion) -Extra game each week against league median (To spice it up) -No trade deadline Lineups: 14 teams QB x2 RB x3 WR x4 TE x1 Bench: 8 Taxi Squad: 3 (rookies or sophomores) IR Slots: 3 No flex spots and deep benches. Have a need? Fill it via trade for the exact position you need. The wavier wire is thin? Trade for the guy you need instead. Playoffs: 8 teams make the playoffs, giving more incentive to try a bit to sneak into the playoffs, and make trades to do so Rookie drafts: - 3 rounds - Will start roughly 1 week after the nfl draft - Picks will be 12 hours - Non playoff teams get ordered by reverse max points for - 7th-10th: reverse max pf of opening round of the playoffs losers - 11th & 12th: reverse max pf of semifinals losers - 13th: runner-up - 14th: champ The great annual poaching draft: (taking the thrill of keeper leagues into a dynasty format) - The goal is to instill some fear that a player might get poached, hence encouraging more trading (plus, who doesn’t love more drafts?) - We will list each team as having a 4th and 5th round pick, but these are not your typical rookie pick. These will be our way of keeping track of our poaching picks - Every year, at the start of the real-life NFL draft, add/drops will freeze (but not trading, duh 🤣). Each team can protect a starting lineup’s worth of players (10) plus an additional 2 bench/taxi players (making it 10+2=12 players total) - Note, this must include a whole starting lineup, so a minimum of 2QB, 3RB, 4WR, and 1TE must be protected - Teams will need to make a nickname for the 12 players that are protected from the poaching draft saying “protected” - Teams need to designate which of their players are protected within 1 week after the rookie draft ends. - The poaching draft will begin as soon as every team has designated which players are protected - Rookies are excluded from the poaching draft - Teams will then poach (steal) players from other teams’ rosters with their 4th and 5th round picks from the pool of unprotected players - Teams will have 12 hours to make their poaching pick
