Determining draft order ideas? The more random the better
Yes the more random the better
but also do snake, linear will give the early drafters an advantage
Yeah I agree. What ideas do you have for determining the draft order? Pulling names out of a hat is boring.
Just click the randomize button more than once, im thinking two or three times, 5 tops so no one feels biased about certain draft positions
Like ik everyone gonna want top 3 but if someone were more inclined towards volunteering at one of the positions (10-12) in a 12 team draft, then i guess that would be alright
otherwise just randomize the draft a few times lol
If you want to get really random you could all draw out the name of a horse in the Kentucky Derby if you wait till then to draft
Then however those horses rank can be the draft order
Or you can let everyone choose their draft position based on the order of the finishers
We did the horse race last year and it went well. Just want to do something different
There were a few leagues where we hit random order and in that order you would ask them what spot they wanted. So for example @alecsebas was 1 then @FartsHumper was 2 then I was 3. Alec says he wants pick number 3, then farts wants pick number 10 then I want pick number 1 and so on.
Have your whole league fill out a bracket for the NFL playoffs and create a point system with it. Whoever scores highest picks first. And lowest picks last
