Zero WR vs Zero RB strategy which one will work better for this year in PPR? Looking to employ one Any help would be greatly appreciated!
But like everyone else said it’s kinda a pick oriented thing I just like hearing opinion but I agree 100%
In my 12 team startup dynasty, I had the 1.7, 1.8, and 2.3 and had the mindset to go RB-RB-RB with my first three picks. When all the RBs went early, I ended up taking DHops, D. Adams, and JuJu with my three picks. Oh well, my strategy went out the window. Now will have a more difficult time picking RBs.
Who are your current backs? @sactoboy
@Saquonhypetrain we are currently at pick 3.2, my next pick is at 3.7, so no RBs for me yet. Not sure if I should take a RB with my next pick or take Kittle/Ertz if one falls to me. I wanted to take Mixon with my 1.7 but he was taken at 1.5 so I just zagged while everyone boarded RBs
I feel but that’s a great groups of wideouts
If you’re in a PPR you can always focus on pass catching backs as well@
True, I wanted other teams to fear my three RB monster lineup, but I don't think other teams would be as intimidated with three monster WRs. It was the oddest draft where only my two WRs were taken on 1st round. I guess in this league, folks love and value RBs more
None loser
Draft a balanced team
If you are picking at the bottom of the first round, zero RB is a good strategy. Especially in 10 team leagues. I see more quality casing RBs out of the top 10 than WRs. Imo and the 2 cents it's worth.
That’s what I was thinking mainly towards the back end of the first for zero Rb
I always talk about it but come draft time I go with what works best
Because sometimes guys can fall and you have to adjust on the fly
If I were picking in top of the round I would have to pick an RB1 first, then pick 2 WR
It starts to get tricky around the 5-6 pick
I’ve seen Gordon/Hopkins/Bell go there
For me 7-8 is where I really don’t wanna be
Same
At that point I hope Devante Adams is available
And pray that Mixon survives the turn
I am pretty much guaranteed to hate my team if I don’t take a rb in one of the first 2 rounds
but at the same time I’m not gonna reach for someone I don’t like just to take a rb
It's a PPR world were living in...not to many RBs catch 100 balls
All depends on where you’re drafting from and who’s available and what not. For example if I have the 6th pick in a 12 man league, I might go D hop if he falls to me and then get either Evans Brown or TY in the 2nd if Cook doesn’t fall to me. But if d hop doesn’t fall to me there I’m taking DJ or Gordon over Michael Thomas, Julio, Adams etc
