PSA: I caught two cheaters in a league today. Accounts: Holdthepickle Theworkman23 These are the same user and they are cheating to stack their own teams. They use the same IP address. Check if you have these users in your leagues.

Again I want to say great work man! But only critique I have of you handling the situation is that, I would not have specifically told them how I caught them cheating, just the fact that I caught them. Because when criminals learn of how they were caught, they find ways in the future to avoid that and keep doing it.

Smarter cheaters are already out there and are using different IP addresses anyway. To be honest we got lucky that this guy was dumb af
I've heard the only way to prevent this is to put more money on leagues. A $200 buy in with 12 teams. Not a lot of people willing to roll $400 risk. Our mistake was a $10 league winner take all. Someone was willing to wage $20 for $100.

@Nola6 what you need to do, sadly, it shouldn’t come to this, but what you need to do is find a way to verify each account/each team as being independent from eachother.

Like I said earlier, even me, as a team in the league, could sneak into the league under a different email and name etc. so it is a big problem

I'm going to chat with LeagueSafe for awhile and see if they have some stronger ways to catch cheating, since they are the ones dealing with all the money...it makes no sense they weren't able to catch it, and Sleeper was

Leaguesafe only has a couple instances of use. These accounts have been in existence at least 2 seasons so I suppose sleeper has a long log of both accounts where sometimes they might have unique ips but on occasion they used the same ips when they were sloppy and thinking they'd never get caught
