what is your craziest idea for a new fantasy football feature, setting, or game mode? 🧐

Hello, firstly I want to say I love the app. The UI is very nicely designed and it really is in a leagure of it’s own when it comes to fantasy apps. With that though I do have a few suggestions; + Chess Timer Some people in slow drafts are notorious for going missing. Rather than offer a set time period for each pick. Give each player a bank of time they can use like they do in chess. So for every pick the timer doesn’t click on for 1 min, but once that minute is over that persons time bank ticks down. So if a player starts off with 8 hours and they take 3 hours over their 1st pick then they have 5 hours left in the bank for pick #2. + Trade Rankings Online there are huge sub communities that exist to rank trades. It’s remarkable really. But it’s also inefficient. If you are wanting to embrace this and bring it more into the sleeper mainstream then make it super convenient for people. Once a trade has been completed, offer a slider where everyone in the league can rank who’s side of the trade they like. So 60% - 40% in favour of Team A. Whether this information is available immediately is discussion for your product people. But, what it does is enables you to gather analytics on how successful a trader someone is perceived to be. This could then be utilizes at the end of season awards notification or provide a stat against each user so you can even create super trader leagues. + Cross League View As a participant in multiple leagues I find it real difficult to get a consolidated view over al leagues. There should be some sort of space in the app where you can get an overview of participation of all teams. So if you are in this space you will have a full fixture lineup where you can click on a game and see exactly how many players you own in all your leagues. This would then be the go-to place for in game scores + DEF Points For DEF, do not add the points for points allowed until 4th Qtr. As it currentlt stand it creates a false impression as to what your weekly score projection is if your DEF has just began it’s game. This should be an easy fix and works really well with FPL in the UK. + On the left toolbar you can fix the formatting so that for every league entry, the height of the text matches the height of the league logo. In a gameweek there is 4 lines of text where there should be no more than 3 + Don’t access messages from the left toolbar. Have another icon on the screen to get into message center.

If a player shows disgruntled in the news then the current manager takes a hit for that player in what they are willing to leave to another team for contractually

Everything is currency based and different players exhibit their preferences in how they interact with the currency

A poor manager could end up at a rookie auction draft with their currency being valued at %80 by more players because of poor management practices

Odd numbers of playoff teams

1. Community based rankings. The possibility to do your own rankings for dynasty and redraft for every member of sleeper to create the ultimate ECR. Maybe even for individual leagues. 2. It would even the value of QBs, if it were possible to split the points for rushing yards between QBs and non-QBs. In that way we could make sure that passing yards and QB rushing yards get closer together. Takes away the cheat code for the Konami Code QBs

Survivor Mode Each week you re draft but you cannot draft the same player twice

I call this the “retire on top” league. Each week every team loses their top scoring player from that week, and they are ineligible to be used by anybody the rest of the season. The final week it’s just a 1 v 1

Trades where you can include draft picks. RB/WR/TE/QB (Rush yds only) Bonus points for 100 yd games QB Bonus points for null interceptions in a game where >200yds passing

A gamemode where you draft your ultimate team at the start of the season, and then can make no changes to your team during the season, other than change starters with bench-spots. Everyone can draft everyone - so all teams can fx draft Josh Allen to their team, and it's all about navigating through anticipations before the season begins. It'd obviously work best with larger rosters, so teams won't be identical, and so any one team won't be decimated by one or two injuries.

give a different pokemon type to players from each nfl team, then have effective or ineffective point multipliers depending on which types go up against each other in h2h league matchups

Trading blocks

“PICKS AND BANS” feature from Sleeper’s Fantasy LCS leagues. You should be able to pick a player on your team to be your Champion and also get the opportunity to block your opponent’s champion pick. It gives managers more chances to strategically counter their opponent, and feels so satisfying when you get it right. Commissioner should be able to set the bonus/penalty for this system in the Team settings so it doesn’t have to 100% cancel a player’s points. For example, it could be a 50% bonus/penalty. You should also be able to toggle which positions can/can’t be used (for example, you can’t have your QB or Kicker be a Champion).

PRO-BOWL WEEK 18: it’s unfortunate no one plays the last week of the season. As a prize for going to the championship, those two teams should be able to draft Pro-Bowl Teams (from all players) for an added exhibition matchup in week 18 for a head to head game, just as an added bonus. Pro Bowl could also be a feature added to every league where the commissioner sets the matchups manually (based on rivalry), and every team gets a head-to-head Pro Bowl draft/matchup for the exhibition game.

Winner takes all perfect line up challenge. Charge $1 per entry and start a rolling jackpot. 1st player to submit the perfect line up (top score at each position any given week) takes the pot.

Injury replacements if a player gets an injury designation during a game replace that player with a player from your bench. Create a reserve squad 1 QB, 1 WR, 1RB, 1 Flex, 1 Super Flex. A 5 man reserve squad that would give you option to swap when a player in your line ups health status changes

Pick a head coach and if he challenges a play and wins or loses - make scoring of such relevant just as those decisions have impact in real NFL games.

******** IN GAME ABILITY TO SUB A BENCH PLAYER FOR AN INJURY********** This should be standardized already. We learned what to do with subs during the inaugural Covid season. We did that painstakingly in our leagues like old school score keeping. The same should be applied to injuries in-game so long as you have a bench player of that position to replace the injured starter. @Sleeper @akahotcheetos
