Being able to substitute players
Once a year, during the regular season, you’re allowed to use the score from a player on the bench in place of a player in your starting lineup.
Mid-game substitution. The idea is if you don't like the way your player is playing or he gets injured, you can pull him for someone on your bench. But you have to do it no later than the 1st quarter.

We do a consolation playoff bracket. The winner gets the #1 draft slot in rookie draft. It encourages people to play to the end of the season.
