“Aaron Jones said he was confident he could play through calf strain in Houston, but #Packers aren’t expected to push him. The plan is for Jones to not play v Texans, per sources. Jamaal Williams and AJ Dillon will have increased roles, and Dexter Williams was called up for depth.”

TradeToLose 4 years ago

jamaal

AjonesTheGod 4 years ago

@TradeToLose why

TradeToLose 4 years ago

Jamaal gonna stay in his role like he would when jones is there. Dillon will play jones role for the game. Houston is the 31 ranked run defense and Dillon will be the goal line back. Jamaal will start out with carriesnbut dillon will take over and then jamaal will be used for receiving. Dillon runs hard and it takes usually a few players to bring him down. Lafleur loves him and i feel like he will do better than jamaal @AjonesTheGod

AjonesTheGod 4 years ago

Where is the report that dillion will play that role? Feel like it's hope and hype saying that. No offense

AjonesTheGod 4 years ago

Aaron rodgers also said he doesn't think AJ D needs more carries and that it was only bc of the score.

TradeToLose 4 years ago

Clearly the packers loved him enough to draft him in the second. They would obv want to see how he plays and from his limited carries he's done well. Its speculation but many feel as if he will become the primary rusher in this game. Also he will def get a td at the goal line

AjonesTheGod 4 years ago

But when ajones isn't in on the goaline it's Williams who's been in? aJD hasent seem 1 goaline attempt I don't think

TradeToLose 4 years ago

thats bc when they practice and work on a game plan they don't use dillon as much but now that jones is out they will give him reps. Doesnt make sense to not give a back whos that big and strong a goal line carry

TradeToLose 4 years ago

jamaal is good dont get me wrong

TradeToLose 4 years ago

but dillon has more ppotential

ShmurdaYaBish 4 years ago

Flex Bell Edmonds or ADillon

AjonesTheGod 4 years ago

I feel like jamal will have more upside bc passing work possibly. I have them both.

TradeToLose 4 years ago

i have them both too but starting dillon over jamaal swift and arob
