I own zero stocks of CMC but in my opinion they should lean on the side of caution. Davis is kicking ass and high ankle sprains are fucking shitty. I dread hearing a skill position player of mine gets one. It basically guarantees they will be playing at 60-80% the rest of the year. But the more time CMC can rest, the better. Another couple of weeks would help a lot.

If Davis is dominating, they are winning with him 3-0 since then, why would they rush him back? Why not ease CMC in and give him a bit more time? If they are playoff bound, why would they rush CMC back when high ankles are dreadful and can linger for several weeks? I would imagine they would want him closer to 100% if possible as they hit their stride and move towards and/or past midseason. This is a real life football thing... not fantasy.

Yes they want him closer to 100%, but when he gets back Davis will be OBS. And they are not 3-0 because of Davis, their D has stepped up, new system. Teddy is still adapting to a new team. They lost even with CMC going 150+ yards.

Davis is feasting. He is a big part of it. I fail to see how my argument is stupid or flawed lol it just sucks from a fantasy PoV as someone who drafted CMC first overall. Believe me, I had Saquon first overall last year and the damn high ankle he got lingered all season. Kamara was the same way.
