“Giants and RB Devonta Freeman now officially have agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $3 million. “Devonta turned down more money from other teams because he likes the opportunity with the Giants best,” per @Rosenhaussports.”

Wow

Adam4K 5 years ago

I really want to know what teams also made an offer to Freeman this last week. Eagles, I'm assuming... who else?

NinerWhatever 5 years ago

What you want to look out for is if they bring up JaMycal Hasty

Ya I never saw him so can’t say

NinerWhatever 5 years ago

Supposedly looked good in camp, but lack of preseason made the difference

Giants super bowl

replacements331 5 years ago

If the 9ers are ahead in the game they’ll use Wilson I think

replacements331 5 years ago

Since the Giants suck.. that’s a good bet 😂

NinerWhatever 5 years ago

Wilson should get 10 carries if Coleman is out

KungFuKenny96 5 years ago

LMAO turned down more money elsewhere cuz he likes where the Giants are at 🤣

It is 2020 and Barkley is one of the most fit athletes on the planet. Is a torn ACL early this season a reason for serious concern for dynasty/keeper teams next year? Would be utter tragedy if he fades due to injury... people said AP was a freak for rebounding his tear

KungFuKenny96 5 years ago

@danimal22 he needs to properly heal & rehab his ACL

TeddyBrewski7 5 years ago

@danimal22 it’s always wise to temper expectations after an ACL tear but typically upper echelon athletes like Barkley stay ahead of that curve

TeddyBrewski7 5 years ago

I’m hoping for the best

danimal22 5 years ago

Any examples of studs - other than AP - who were able to get through this and back to form ?

danimal22 5 years ago

RBs are the only fair comp

TeddyBrewski7 5 years ago

Dalvin cook

Good call

turley36 5 years ago

@danimal22 He’s young and ACL reconstruction has come a very very long way. He’ll bounce back for sure. Could pull a hammy next year because that seems to be pretty correlated for some reason... Any ways, it’s not an Achilles, I’d bet my bottom dollar he’s back with vengeance next year given it was so early in the season like you mentioned.
