How many PPR RBs are really consistent? James white and Cohen? White is a unicorn and Cohen there’s no depth. Rivera isn’t gonna use Gibson as a feature rb it wouldn’t make sense

@JCribbs1521 Rivera has mentioned wanting to line up Gibson all over the field and use him like he did CMC with the panthers, not saying he will put up the same numbers but still promising

@aarobcon NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Love is "looking really good" and beat writer JP Finlay of NBC Sports in DC believes Love has the inside track on the No. 2 role because he has been working with the first team when Peterson needs a breather. Running backs coach Randy Jordan said Love, at his peak, had similar skills to former Stanford teammate Christian McCaffrey. First year coach Ron Rivera said of Love: "From where he's come, it's been remarkable to watch. He's done a great job. Very smart, bright football player. He's a guy that's multi-dimensional. This is a guy that could be an every-down back for you. He's an explosive, dynamic player." Keep in mind that Rivera has no ties/loyalty to Peterson. Washington did take Antonio Gibson in the third round of this year's draft out of Memphis, but he was basically a receiver in college who is still learning how to be a running back as well as pass protect.
