“My understanding is the Chiefs have potential interest in Leonard Fournette now that he's cleared waivers. The money would need to be right as he'd be backing up Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who has impressed considerably in training camp.”

At least a wr2 but yeah it was too tempting

Cya @Packersfan99

michaelg113 5 years ago

@aarobcon yeah I just figured what’s the worst that can happen it’s the 9th round

michaelg113 5 years ago

Honestly I don’t think I’m ever gonna draft again this early there’s just too much shit that can happen lol

aarobcon 5 years ago

@michaelg113 I always draft for upside at that point anyways

aarobcon 5 years ago

I like drafting about a week or so before the season jic other people haven't done their research, you can get some solid steals

michaelg113 5 years ago

@aarobcon I feel that Did you go rb heavy in the early rounds or was it more balanced for you?

michaelg113 5 years ago

That’s true too most of the people in my league just went by adp

michaelg113 5 years ago

I have another draft next Wednesday though so on the plus side at least we’ll know how everything is looking better by then

aarobcon 5 years ago

In that league I drafted in the 3 spot, went Elliot, Chubb, Allen Robinson, AJ brown the Melvin gordon so I had RB depth to sit on Monty for a few weeks

aarobcon 5 years ago

It's only a 10 person so was lucky in having Chubb fall

michaelg113 5 years ago

@aarobcon those are really good picks I think there’s a lot of value in the 3-6 rounds for wr and you can’t go wrong with chubb and zeke obviously

michaelg113 5 years ago

Well it’d be nice to talk more but I should probably get some sleep lol cya though @aarobcon

aarobcon 5 years ago

This year there is a huge pool of talent in rounds 3-6 for wr, makes it easier to plan RB-RB strategy early. Sounds good, good luck in your draft

Zero WR strategy. WRs are too inconsistent to be drafting early.

gmoney3 5 years ago

Going back to the old school strategy.

Fournette wouldn’t fit right in chiefs offensive scheme

yamakah3000 5 years ago

doesnt mean he wont end up there backing up CEH and taking his goal line carries lol

aarobcon 5 years ago

He would be a solid redzone and short yardage guy though

everyone forgets its not about fantasy hahah

yamakah3000 5 years ago

Remember, Fournette can now pick his location and it's not one he's going to be a backup.
