@WistfulThinking fumbles are never good but last week was a 4th down. He had to twist and reach fir the 1st down or it didn't matter anyway bc he was short. He just twisted into a guy while opening up to reach out. Still not his first

@dbarz game script and Melvin's production will ultimately decide that. If Ekeler is more effective and gives a higher potential to win the game why not go with him. Last week they ran a screen that Melvin got bumped on and he couldn't get into his route which ended the drive and their chance to win.

I think it’s pretty clear the ekeler is a better and more efficient pass catcher than Melvin and a lot of Melvins value and volume came from pass catching in recent years he’s never been a super runner he’s good but never really elite melvins value takes a hit whether he gets the carries or not if ekeler gets the pass catching work he’s been gettint

And btw the way this defense has been playing I also expect them to be playing from behind a lot which is also bad for Melvin
