It's a power move for them to say that because they are saying unless there's a trade you either play for our contract your under or you don't play and lose money they are banking on the hopes that he doesn't find a trade and realizes hell lose money if he doesn't ay for them

The chargers gm is doing the smart move. Why pay him when he has one more year under contract. If he doesn’t play he is still under contract Melvin got no choice. It’s a smart business move run him into the ground this year and move on let someone else pay him. Unless he retires and becomes the face of the xfl.

Everybody is hyped on ekler but he was only good when Gordon was on the field the weeks gordon was out ekler wasn't producing for the chargers ... but will see what happens in the season
