“Here's the news Dallas has wanted: Talks between the Cowboys and RB Ezekiel Elliott are intensifying, with both sides aiming to wrap up a new deal this weekend, league sources tell ESPN.”

bigmikex275 5 years ago

@mosterling3 who would give up zeke for that? Seems stupid to me

mosterling3 5 years ago

He has no other backs besides Gordon and pollard so he desperately needs rbs and idk if he’s aware of the news

Mason76 5 years ago

@bigmikex275 I agree, but if that’s the case....do it

SeanS2345 5 years ago

This is why guys like Zeke And Le’Veon will never win Superbowls.. they take all the money and every guy wants to be the next highest paid player. Atleast Brady who should be one of the top paid players always restructures his contract to help get the players he needs.

Mason76 5 years ago

@SeanS2345 Brady is a genius in that respect, and other...respects....or whatever....lol

mikemacheras 5 years ago

@OldRussian yeah not like Schefter reported it or anything

LightsOutt 5 years ago

@AlteredBeast he’s not injury prone so that adds to his value. The Pats do everything right with coaching and no one else can match that. Eagles had an amazing year with a balanced team. Every year and team is different. A fresh rookie is great and Pollard will get a few series every game, but they lack pass blocking and vision. Barkley and Mcaffrey will have huge pay days coming up soon as well. These backs cannot just simply be replaced by a rookie because they are fresh.

AlteredBeast 5 years ago

@Mason76 Exactly man. Those mega contracts on RBs cripple teams so they can't build in other areas. Probably affects team morale too.

Mason76 5 years ago

@jmav unfortunate, but you very well may be right. Not just RB either

Mason76 5 years ago

@AlteredBeast it does....WR & Pass rusher is getting that way too

QB is what it is, but even kinda them

Mason76 5 years ago

Brady is the ultimate team guy....I can’t deny it

Mason76 5 years ago

And has been for a while

SeanS2345 5 years ago

Brady is lucky to to have a wife who makes millions too lol

AlteredBeast 5 years ago

@LightsOutt yet backs are replaced all the time by fresh rooks. That's how teams actually build to win the SB: spend on other players to build a solid team and hold to draft into a solid rookie RB once the o-line is fortified.

Mason76 5 years ago

@SeanS2345 I think he’s the same guy without her and the extra 💵, but yeah
