“The #Saints have reported and WR Michael Thomas has not arrived at the facility, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. He’s seeking a new deal and the two sides are not there yet. Until they get there, he’ll stay away.”
I also am positively 100% sure he is the most aggressive and has the biggest killer instinct of any receiver in the league not naming a Jarvis Landry. He is a guy that we do not wanna lose. He is gritty and unstoppable for the most part. Breeze has a lot to do with this but without this guy breeze doesn’t have long enough to find someone else like him, the Saints are in a win now mode for the next three years and then it may be over as far as Drew Brees
u think michael thomas is worth 22million dollars @LouisiAnimals1 ?
did u not see the 2018 stats i posted yesterday?
It’s not that I think he’s worth that much money, because this is what they will pay him he’s worth being paid at the top of the list. I agree with you, I think these guys shouldn’t make more than 10 million a year. But it is what it is and if everyone else is going to make this kind of money, he should be at the top of the list to make it as well.
Did you know he was a second-year receiver and he has posted multiple records that no other receiver has ever done in their first multiple years
he was still one of the most inconsistent top wrs last year....by asking for this money hes actually hurting his teams superbowl chances the next few years bc it means that wont be able to pay other, more important team pieces
$22 million is average starting QB money.
@gojonking explain the face palm please
Explain how he was inconsisitent
he had 8 games under 75 yards in 2018
want to know the list of players who did better than that?
Nah.
He caught almost everything thrown in his direction whether double covered or not. Had the highest catch% per target in the league. I see your point with the yards per game but if he’s not thrown to he’s limited in production.
Let’s be honest thought last year as far as receiving threats for New Orleans there was only MT so he was thoroughly covered.
he was the 12th most targeted player in 2018 how was he not getting the ball thrown his way? and are u saying kamara isnt a receiving threat? all im saying is the dude isnt worth 22 million dollars and he hurts his team by asking for that much...they offered him 18 million and he turned it down....i dont think hes worth that....ur telling me this dude cant make a good living with 16 million a year? thats not greedy?
Oh no that’s definitely greedy no argument there. . I just was saying he is consistent when the ball is thrown his way.
He's easily a top 3 Reciever in the NFL. Pay the man!
Dude I said nothing. You the one typing all this BS
DID YOU NOT READ MY TEXT. I agreed on that part . But bc that’s what they pay these wrs , it is what it is .
How I feel and being logical are on different plains man
If you think Kamara doesn’t benefit from Thomas then you smoking crack
They feed off each other
He’s a nice young man! He should get paid so he can feed his family
Just saw something on Sports Center where they divided a receiver's paycheck by the amount of catches they made the last 3 seasons. Michael Thomas got 11k per catch, AB got 140k+. Even though Thomas had more overall catches. No wonder he's holding out.
