“Video: Bucs receivers coach Kevin Garver talks about Chris Godwin and how he could be involved in the slot as well as outside this season. https://t.co/vyiFac3Gxu”
Target share matters
Godwin is being drafted closer to the high end of his range of outcomes than low end if he's WR22
We have seen many wr2 on teams make wr2 easily
There is a very good chance he eats a lot of what people expect to go to Howard being in the Arians scheme
I think his fkoor is really high this year
Jesus Christ the hype surrounding him is insane lmao
His metrics are sick
It is well deserved
@LeipoldNFL he was 27 last year and he didn’t even have 60 receptions how is 22 bad value when he can easily get 85-100 this year and his target share is not gonna be worse than last year with jackson and Humphries gone
Smart we are talking these guys into shares of him. Gonna pay off for us all
They will be very pleased come january
Because math. He isn't gonna sniff 100 catches
Not many do but 80 is very doable
Might even be his floor
Especially against the likes of Watkins kupp and boyd at the same adp
He's gonna get his but the hype is too much. He's the defacto 2WR on the team & if he does primarily work the slot it's gonna be tuff sledding for'm this yr. It took Fitz almost 2yrs to be comfortable running those option routes underneath
Godwin szn
Who’s ready to mock draft now?
He had success in the slot last year too especially in the redzone
And he left at least 3-4 tds on the table
@LeipoldNFL but the math says 180 targets / 110 catches left with humphries and Jackson in the offseason. Just 25% of that pie added to the share he had last year puts him in high end wr2 territory
40% of that of that share added to last year’s production makes him an elite wr1. Obv it’s not that simple, but the bottom line is that more volume with similar efficiency = huge upside
Yugggggeeeee
look at the people who finished ahead of him last year
