“Report: Kap wanted $20 million to play in AAF https://t.co/1LWfAqOIcz”
Publicly owned teams would be great but good luck taking away the multi billion dollar investments (we call them teams) of the current owners
Acknowledged. Though I think the situation is racially charged enough that a case could be made for discrimination.
I am not saying that he should be hired. I don't know enough about him as a player.
But there's no basis that he isn't being hired for HIS ra e
Race
Race may be his cause...but that's different
@HubbCity one hit wonders -- look at super bowl champs. Most of them didn't even make it back the year after they won. Good defenses don't sustain excellence.
@NSwanson I would actually love to see what happened if more were publically owned
Yeah, well there's very few teams that make it two years in a row, let alone winning it. Your logic means that all these great QBs, like a Phillip Rivers who never made a super bowl suck
Bears 85 ravens 00 best 2 defense to ever do didnt go back good point
Playoffs, year after year, is sustained success
Ravens and Seahawks both have had lots of that last couple decades
They have all been successful, but don't enjoy the enduring and consistent success of teams with good offenses.
As a chiefs fan whoes team has 7 years in a row and won 10 plus each year. I disagree we are a complete failure
Lmao
Now that is sour
Teams with the best offenses (Steelers, Packers, Patriots, etc.) have more consistent success.
Point being that even with a different QB, 49ers strong defense would be unlikely to carry them to four rings.
For sure
This aint the NBA
NFL rings are uber rare and brady has 6 what a fkn boss
But the Patriots who usually have mediocre defenses keep rolling, Chiefs defense is mediocre, Saints, etc.
The best teams recently don't need to have high end defenses.
Rams defense was a pile
