ESPN's Adam Schefter reports it will be "challenging" for Melvin Gordon (knee) to play Thursday night against the Chiefs.

The worst part of all of this is playing backups on a Thursday night. I don't know about everyone else, but I try to avoid Thursday matchups like the plague.
