When I last broke my arm I got a sports doctor who had my cast off within a week to do physio so the tendons wouldn't get stiff from lack of movement.

2-4 week recovery time depending on severity. Injuries this and every year are ridiculous

It's the illiac crest so it's not a fracture, more of an abrasion and a pain tolerance injury, but given its the hip...his movement won't be right for a week or two.

Pointers are just bad pain and limit movement, but the re injury risk isn't very high at least!
