At 98, with my family and iguanas gone, I'm facing my final year alone. My retirement fund holds $3, and all that remains are fading memories of a life once full of love.

Fantasy football, inspired by my pookie kings, Kurt Benkert and Deestroying, is my only joy. But without anyone to share it with, even that small comfort feels out of reach.

Because a lesser man might have a problem losing to a sixth seed in the Championship!

Being in this league would give me a last connection to the world, a reason to wake up, and one final chance to live out my passion for the game before my time ends.
