There are only two avenues to obtain talent in the NFL. Free agency and the draft. If you can't afford to keep the players you already have, how is free agency going to work if you are competing with 31 other teams. That leaves the draft. They now have 10 better picks than what they had at the start of the draft. These players are much cheaper and younger than players obtained via free agency. They are reloading, and I feel they are doing a damn good job of it. If that is not what is happening, then Beane just overslept yesterday.
