Lamar, As the fantasy football season comes to a close, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how much of an integral of part of my fantasy squad you were. For all intents and purposes, you’re the reason I’m in the Fantasy Championship. You didn’t have to snap, but you did. This entire season you never put up less than 20 (for the most part), in fact you averaged closer to 26 points a game which is diabolical. In my head and in my heart, no matter how this season ends, you’ll always be my MVP. Thank you for taking me this far and more importantly, thank you for being YOU, Lamar. Good luck to everyone smart enough to have drafted him and rode with him the entire way, let’s get this chip. Phenomenal final outing.

Lamar Jackson is a prominent figure in the world of professional football, known for his exceptional skills as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). Born on January 7, 1997, in Pompano Beach, Florida, Jackson's journey to stardom began in high school, where he showcased his athleticism and leadership abilities. He attended Boynton Beach High School, where he excelled as a dual-threat quarterback, drawing attention from college scouts and earning a scholarship to the University of Louisville. At Louisville, Jackson continued to impress, winning the prestigious Heisman Trophy in 2016. He became the youngest player ever to receive the award, highlighting his ability to perform at an elite level. During his college career, he set numerous records, including becoming the first player in NCAA history to pass for over 3,500 yards and rush for over 1,500 yards in a single season. His electrifying playing style, characterized by his speed and agility, made him a standout player and a fan favorite. In the 2018 NFL Draft, Lamar Jackson was selected by the Baltimore Ravens as the 32nd overall pick. His transition to the professional level was closely watched, as many analysts questioned whether his unique skill set would translate to the NFL. However, Jackson quickly silenced his critics by demonstrating his ability to lead the Ravens to success. In his rookie season, he took over as the starting quarterback and led the team to a playoff appearance. Jackson's playing style is often described as revolutionary, as he combines the traditional role of a quarterback with the dynamic abilities of a running back. He has the rare ability to extend plays with his legs, making him a dual-threat that defenses struggle to contain. His speed allows him to evade defenders and gain significant yardage on the ground, while his strong arm enables him to make accurate throws downfield. This unique combination has redefined the quarterback position in the league. In 2019, Lamar Jackson had a breakout season, leading the Ravens to a 14-2 record and becoming the youngest quarterback to win the NFL MVP award. He finished the season with over 3,100 passing yards, 36 touchdown passes, and 1,206 rushing yards, setting a single-season record for rushing yards by a quarterback. His remarkable performance earned him widespread recognition and solidified his status as one of the league's elite players. Despite facing challenges, including injuries and playoff disappointments, Jackson has continued to evolve as a quarterback. He has worked diligently to improve his passing accuracy and decision-making, demonstrating his commitment to becoming a more complete player. His resilience and work ethic have earned him the respect of teammates and coaches alike, as he consistently strives to elevate his game. Off the field, Lamar Jackson is known for his humility and dedication to his community. He has been involved in various charitable initiatives, including efforts to support youth programs and provide resources for underprivileged children. Jackson's commitment to giving back reflects his character and desire to make a positive impact beyond football. As of the 2024 season, Jackson remains a key player for the Ravens and a prominent figure in the NFL. His ability to captivate audiences with his electrifying playstyle continues to draw fans and inspire young athletes. The evolution of his career serves as a testament to the importance of hard work, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence. In conclusion, Lamar Jackson's journey from a talented high school athlete to an NFL superstar exemplifies the power of determination and skill. His unique playing style has redefined the quarterback position, and his impact on the game will be felt for years to come. As he continues to break records and lead his team, Jackson's legacy as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history is being established, inspiring the next generation of players to follow in his footsteps.
