Sure, but receivers have to lift their arm up more too, which is painful and leaves him open to impact and further injury. An rb can also try and protect his shoulder more, whereas a wr is more prone to having to leave their body exposed depending on where the qb makes the throw, and now he has Cooper Rush throwing to him. It's really apples and oranges, I would say both can be really painful, especially for a guy used to commanding double digit targets.
