I called it after week 1. Kyler’s a big baby and wants the moniker of king of Arizona. He refuses to pass to Harrison because then Harrison will start getting all the media attention. They’ve had a strained relationship since day 1 and Murray just doesn’t wanna throw to him because Murray wants to be the reason for why they win in the media’s eyes. It’s pretty sad

After that press conference where Kyler said “it’s not my job to throw to specific people” (paraphrased but that was the jist of it) I knew they had a strained relationship and that Kyler just didn’t like MHJ

Kyler Murray is an egocentric garden gnome who has gotten used to being the star of the show wherever he has went. The reason he only throws hospital balls and contested throws to MHJ is simply to set him up for failure. When he sees Marvin break and is wide open for a TD, he throws to the other guy, always. It’s intentional. Kyler can’t be on a team where he isn’t the main contender. Whenever MHJ got drafted and started selling more jerseys than Kyler, he made the decision right then and there that he was not going to give him the looks he deserves. He wants to show the world that this is his team and they can win without him.
