There’s no way StBrown gets the yards before the lateral AND Goff gets the TD for that. Wtf is that shit

I know football but how many times has a qb had the ball hit throwing a pass and someone picks it up off the ground and runs it in. That don’t count even tho qb was in process of passing

harryirving75 1 year ago

I didn’t know a wide receiver pull hand the ball of and give the qb points

harryirving75 1 year ago

This is crazy

ClapnCheex 1 year ago

Same shit different guidelines

andrewhelman 1 year ago

So you're telling me if they had to run some schoolyard bullshit and lateral it like 5 more times, they score, that's a Goff TD pass still? Yeah fucking right

primosux45 1 year ago

Guys think of it like a fumble I know he didn’t fumble the ball backwards but you have to treat it like so, Amon ra gets his yards for the catch until he passed it then Jameson Williams gets the remaining yards while Goff gets the passing td and also the passing yards yall are making this too complicated it’s basically a fumble

its not ts not fair

Josh Allen got a passing and receiving??

Straight from the rules. “In a "hook and ladder" play, the quarterback is typically credited with only the passing yards gained on the initial throw to the first receiver, as the subsequent laterals are counted as rushing yards for the players who receive them; meaning the QB's stats will only reflect the initial pass attempt, not the entire play's yardage gained from the laterals. Key points about QB stats on a hook and ladder play: Passing yards: The quarterback is only credited with the yardage gained on the initial forward pass to the first receiver. Touchdown: If the play results in a touchdown, the QB will only be credited with a passing touchdown if the initial receiver crosses the goal line with the ball. Completions: The completion is counted as a standard completion for the quarterback. Example: If a quarterback throws a 10-yard pass to a receiver who then laterals the ball to another player who runs for a touchdown, the QB's stats would only show a 10-yard completion, not the total yards gained on the play.”
