Garrett Wilson - Faces new competition for targets
Not opposed outright
Just a wait and see situation
For those who think he’s cooked, think about how their opponents will have to play now. They can’t double cover BOTH adams and Wilson. One will be open and it’s going to be G Willy everytime
G WILLY TILL I DIE
He’ll still get targeted, trust me
Having Adams and Wilson feels baddd
Stevenson for Wilson?
Do I sell high?
Wilson gonna be in the slot?
i’m starting both Gdub and Tae this weekend, gdub will be fine
Before, it was GW and Lazard only. Now, it’s Adams, GW, and Lazard. Same target volume from ARod but more people to target so the target for GW is going to go down no matter what. We better hope that he’ll get more targets in the red zone to make up for it since he’ll be up against CB2 now. Also, I just want to say, fuck Davante Adams.
Just a reminder Devontae smith gets 15 points every week even with brown and Barkley
Garret will be fine
Lazard and Williams both having drop issues which left Wilson double covered most games. Last night was a perfect example. Wilson will get more 1 on 1 looks with DA in town. Might have a slightly lower floor but his ceiling goes up quite a bit.
We're finally getting single coverage dudes
Fuck we bitching about
Adams injury prone asl too we're straight
All of these assumptions man, we all know we’re just gonna have to see how this first game goes Sunday. It sucks but it could play out many different ways good or bad. Just have to wait
this makes it better for garrett guys, bc garrett usually gets doubled or the best corner gets put on him. the best corner might still guard him sometimes, but garrett will still produce.
He was finally looking like an alpha
You served me well these last 2 weeks but I got hill for you so you gotta go 🫡
I don’t think this will hurt him. Adams will draw the top assignments every time
See this as positive boys. This in my eyes is going to be a Puka Kupp type dynamic Wilson=Puka Adams=Kupp Both guys will have value and be startable every week. And now Wilson will get 1v1 coverage and wont have to worry about getting shadowed at all times by the likes of Christian Gonzalez, Pat Surtain type guys
I now have Wilson and Davante. I think they'll both be good, but I also have Breece at RB and feel like I need some diversification away from the jets. What do y'all think about trading Wilson after a few up weeks now?
